This band's energy was absolutely electric, I can't really blame the crowd for being a bit rowdy. Fortunately it wasn't nearly as bad as the many horror stories I've heard from black midi crowds. My personal highlight is the jam they did centered around Parabola and Motorbike. Some truly EVIL stuff going on. Unfortunately the main thing that held the experience back for me was the sound of the venue. I don't know if this is a thing with Geordie's sound crew or the acoustics of the venue, but everything was super muddy and kinda harsh especially at the start. I can only imagine the kinda damage people around me without earplugs suffered. This matrix of my recording along with another excellent source recorded by the soundboard still manages to be fairly listenable, but you can only do so much when it sounded so poor in person. More importantly, with this second source, the show is now fully recorded (on my source there were a few minor cuts due to technical issues and the energetic audience members around me).
